Yes it is true, Sankt Wender Land is a hiking paradise. The landscape, the woods, everything  is perfect for hiking.

Hiking was one of the touristic legs from the beginning in this region. We have a lot of awarded hiking routes, we have pilgrim trails (part of the world heritage route to Santiago de Compostella).
